Post author

Linda Joyce was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, yet she calls New Orleans home. Though she grew up traipsing across the United States from one Air Force base to the next, add in a four-year tour of Japan, she always returns to New Orleans to recharge and reconnect with her roots. However, people often give her odd looks when she explains she’s Irish-Cajun-Japanese. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Business Management, she worked as a Litigation Manager at an insurance company. While living in Kansas, she left corporate America and is now an award-winning writer under contract for her first novel. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three dogs: General Beauregard, Gentleman Jack, and Masterpiece Renoir. Linda loves the game of Six Degrees of Separation and loves connecting with people. She always seeks to discover if she may have crossed paths with them before.

I missed 4 of the newer books. I liked the cover of LORD OF THE FLIES since I think it gave one a hint of what the book might be about. I had read all of those books.
A long time ago, I decided to read the 100 best classics. Took me awhile but I did that.

I am thoroughly impressed that you’ve read ALL of those books! You’re my idol! Was there a cover you liked least?

Hi! I had never heard of Freakonomics, but the cover was certainly intriguing. Now, I’m going to go look up the book.

I’ve never been a fan of that cover for The Great Gatsby, but I love Fahrenheit 451’s! (and I’m pretty impressed with my 90% lol)

Excellent score! When I read The Great Gatsby, it had a cover with actors on it, so I didn’t recognize the cover showed in the quiz.

Hmm. I loved Jurrasic Park and Charlottes Web. Least I liked several but now I’ve forgotten the titles, only me!

Charlotte’s Web is one of my favorites, too. When I was in the 3rd grade, we did a puppet play of this book.

      • Posted by Linda Joyce Reply

That’s wonderful! Hope you enjoyed the quiz. Which cover did you like the best? Which one didn’t you like?

  12. Posted by Debra Shutters Reply

I was going to take the quiz again but accidentally delete the newsletter and could not find it on here

I got 80% and really disliked the cover for American Psycho. It really gave me the creeps. I really like the Great Gatsby cover because there’s a bunch of hidden symbolism in the cover if you look closely. Thanks for the chance, btw! πŸ™‚

      Jenny C,
The thing is, when I read Gatsby, the movie had just come out. I was very young, so the cover had actors on it. I never knew that was the original cover. πŸ™‚

      Thanks for playing!
